Python Django Backend Developer (1-3 Years Experience)

Position Summary

We seek enthusiastic Python/Django backend developers capable of producing clean, functional code and independently addressing development challenges. Candidates can range from final-year students with significant Django project experience to professionals with up to three years in the field. Our team is evolving towards AI-native development, inviting candidates who are keen to embrace emerging AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust backend applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework alongside other essential tools.
• Create and maintain scalable, clean code and clearly articulate design decisions.
• Design, build, and manage RESTful APIs.
• Identify and fix bugs or inefficiencies in existing backend systems.
• Collaborate in architectural design and feature structuring.
• Work cross-functionally to gather requirements and craft technical solutions.
• Adopt and integrate AI tools to streamline and enhance development workflows.

Mandatory Qualifications and Skills

• Practical experience with Python and Django through internships, jobs, or academic/personal projects.
• Proficient in Django REST Framework for API development.
• Competent with at least one database system: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Comfortable using Git platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Basic skills with shell scripting and Linux command-line operations.
• Understanding of REST API design principles.
• Strong fundamentals in computer science including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and eagerness to quickly acquire new technical knowledge.
• Self-driven, communicative, collaborative, and sincere in work approach.
• Interest in AI-related technologies, open to learning GenAI and Agentic AI tools.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT.
• Knowledge of application and server architecture, especially cloud-based environments.
• Awareness of design patterns and operating systems principles.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience using monitoring and logging tools like Sentry, Prometheus, or Grafana.
