About the Role
Join a dynamic technology services company specializing in enterprise digital transformation and tailor-made software solutions, serving global clients. The focus is on creating scalable, secure, and maintainable Python applications that enhance automation, data analytics, and workflow efficiencies for sectors such as BFSI, Logistics, and Retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain backend services and APIs using Python frameworks like Django and Flask, designed to support high-demand web and mobile applications.
- Work closely with frontend developers and product teams to seamlessly connect user interface elements with robust backend processes ensuring scalability.
- Produce clean, reusable, and testable code adhering to industry best standards and software architecture patterns.
- Enhance database operations and resolve performance issues through efficient querying with PostgreSQL or MySQL using ORM or raw SQL commands.
- Utilize Docker for application containerization and manage deployment to cloud providers including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Engage in code reviews, establish continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and help resolve incidents to maintain system stability.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience working with Django and Flask frameworks.
- Competence with PostgreSQL database management.
- Strong understanding of REST API development.
- Knowledge of Docker container technology.
- Familiarity with version control using Git.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
Desired Additional Expertise
- Hands-on with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like pytest or unittest.
