About The Role
Join a technology services company specializing in enterprise digital transformation and bespoke software solutions for global clients. The team focuses on creating scalable, secure Python applications that enhance automation, data insights, and efficient workflows primarily for BFSI, Logistics, and Retail industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and sustain backend services and APIs using Python frameworks like Django and Flask, supporting both high-traffic web and mobile platforms.
- Work closely with frontend engineers and product managers to seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with solid and scalable backend systems.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and reusable code adhering to current best practices and design patterns.
- Enhance query performance and resolve bottlenecks in databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, utilizing ORMs or native SQL as needed.
- Containerize software components with Docker and manage deployment on cloud services including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Engage in peer code reviews, establish CI/CD workflows, and contribute to resolution of system incidents to maintain platform stability.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong command over Python programming language.
- Proficiency with Django and Flask frameworks.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
- Developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on expertise with Docker containerization.
- Version control using Git.
- Cloud platform experience, particularly AWS.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience implementing GraphQL APIs.
- Unit testing methodologies using pytest or unittest frameworks.
