Python Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Python Developer with 5 to 6 years of solid experience in backend application development based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong capabilities in Python programming, RESTful API construction, microservices architecture, database management, cloud services (AWS), and CI/CD workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend applications primarily using Python.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs employing frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Django REST Framework.
• Design scalable microservices and ensure integration with both internal and external systems.
• Work collaboratively with Business Analysts and Design teams to analyze requirements and craft effective technical solutions.
• Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
• Engage in code reviews and adhere to established coding standards.
• Debug and resolve issues across applications, APIs, databases, and live production environments.
• Partner with Support and Professional Services to address client-reported problems.
• Support CI/CD pipeline enhancement, deployment automation, and ongoing application performance monitoring.
• Contribute effectively within cross-functional Agile/Scrum development teams.

Educational Qualifications

• Degree in BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, MCA, MS, or a similar field.
• A strong academic record is preferred.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Core Python programming and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Solid understanding of data structures, collections, exception management, and concurrency via multithreading.
• Practical experience with FastAPI, Django, or Django REST Framework.
• Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and handling system integrations.
• Experience working with data exchange formats such as JSON and XML alongside web service/API integrations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with exposure to databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with ORMs such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Understanding of Microservices architecture and design principles.
• Knowledge of API security frameworks, authentication, and authorization methods including JWT and OAuth.
• Working experience with version control systems (Git) and containerization using Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab pipelines.
• Experience with testing frameworks like PyTest or unittest.
