Python Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer based in Hyderabad to join our team at Acme Services. This role involves developing and supporting backend systems with a focus on clean, efficient, and maintainable code. You will play a key part in building and enhancing our RESTful APIs, working closely with other teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications utilizing Python programming language.
• Create and manage REST APIs leveraging frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, and Django.
• Design, implement, and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries.
• Integrate various third-party APIs and external services into existing systems.
• Ensure code quality through debugging, testing, and performance tuning.
• Engage collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams and contribute to code reviews to uphold coding standards.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Python web frameworks: Flask, FastAPI, and Django.
• Demonstrated ability in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong command of PostgreSQL and proficiency in SQL querying.
• Experience with version control tools like Git, containerization with Docker, and testing frameworks such as PyTest.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and Agile project methodologies.
• Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills.

Additional Information

This position requires between 6 to 9 years of relevant experience. The budgeted salary for this role is 21 lakhs per annum. The role is located in Hyderabad and demands onsite presence. Applicants must be ready to collaborate effectively and have a problem-solving mindset.
