Job Description
We are seeking a Python Backend Engineer to join our Product Development team, focusing on innovation and engineering excellence, simplifying cloud experiences for our customers. This full-time role involves designing and building Python microservices, APIs, and packages utilizing frameworks and tools like FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Django, and Flask.
Responsibilities
- Develop clean, reusable code with thorough comments, unit tests, and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, delivery, QA, product, and design teams.
- Create secure and scalable backend systems that provide real business value.
- Remain informed about emerging technologies and integrate usability best practices.
- Encourage code reusability standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- A minimum of 5 years in software development, with at least 4 years using Python 3.x, Django or Flask frameworks, Celery, FastAPI or similar APIs, and relational databases with SQL/ORM.
- Experience in microservices and modern cloud architectures is essential.
- Strong problem-solving ability to translate complex requirements into functional features with minimal supervision.
- Desired experience with Azure cloud platform development and deployment; familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Databricks is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Angular is advantageous.
- Skilled in integrating enterprise applications.
- Commitment to delivering reliable, scalable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Self-driven with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively within teams.
