Python Backend Developer

About the Company and Role

WillWare Technologies is seeking a seasoned Python Backend Developer with between four to six years of experience to join their teams in Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, or Hyderabad. The position is onsite and involves contributing to the development of highly scalable and high-performance backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain backend services primarily using Python and the Flask framework.
• Develop, integrate, and consume RESTful APIs.
• Establish secure, dependable connections to internal and external systems.
• Package applications into Docker containers for deployment.
• Manage deployment and scaling of applications using Kubernetes.
• Optimize and develop Node.js based services as needed.
• Engage in design discussions and deliver technical solutions.
• Review code to uphold quality and standards.
• Guide and mentor junior developers, bolstering team development.
• Address and resolve issues arising in production environments.
• Ensure backend systems are performant, secure, scalable, and reliable.

Mandatory Expertise

• Proficient in Python programming with practical backend development experience.
• Strong command over Flask framework.
• Extensive experience working with REST APIs and API development.
• Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience in deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
• Skillful in backend application development and API integration.

Additional Desired Skills

• Familiarity with Node.js development.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Database management skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Proficient use of Git version control system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years and up to six years of IT experience.
• Strong practical experience in Python backend development with Flask and REST APIs.
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving aptitude, and technical leadership capabilities.
