Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional with 4 to 6 years of experience as a FICO Blaze / Decision Management Developer. This role is based onsite and involves working across the Banking, Financial Services, and Telecom sectors. The candidate will engage extensively in designing and maintaining decision management solutions utilizing FICO technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and sustain business rules and decision management applications using FICO Blaze, FICO DMP, FICO PLOR, or FICO OMDM platforms.
- Extract rules from existing software and business processes to integrate into decision management systems.
- Create and implement decision flows, tables, trees, strategies, functions, and services to optimize business rules.
- Maintain, author, and refine business rules aligned with functional and business requirements.
- Develop and carry out comprehensive test cases for rules, assist in resolving defects promptly.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, developers, and domain experts to convert business requirements into executable decision logic.
- Develop decision services interfaced through REST APIs and complementary technologies.
- Support deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and production rollout of business rules.
- Engage with Agile Scrum teams, actively participating in sprint planning, daily meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage competing priorities efficiently to ensure delivery within project deadlines.
- Document technical and functional work comprehensively using Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4 to 6 years of experience with FICO Blaze or other FICO Decision Management products.
- Strong practical knowledge of FICO DMP, FICO PLOR, FICO Blaze, and FICO OMDM platforms.
- Proficient in rule harvesting, decision flow design, decision table authoring, decision tree strategies, and developing functions and services.
- Experience with Groovy scripting, SRL, PLOR, and REST API integrations.
- Demonstrated expertise in executing rule tests and handling test cases effectively.
- Previous experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Good understanding of domain-specific aspects related to Banking, Financial Services, or Telecom industries.
