Purchase Executive

About the Role

We seek motivated Purchase Executives to oversee procurement processes including material sourcing, vendor coordination, and negotiating purchases within our pharmaceutical export business. Candidates with prior experience in purchasing, strong communication, and negotiation capabilities are preferred.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of materials, packaging, services, and office supplies as per organizational needs.
• Ensure purchase orders are processed promptly and deliveries occur on schedule.
• Track inventory and work collaboratively with Warehouse, Production, and Sales teams for procurement planning.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers, assess quotations, and secure favorable pricing and contract conditions.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with current vendors.
• Ensure all purchase activities adhere to company policies and quality benchmarks.
• Keep precise records of purchases, goods received notes (GRN), invoices, and vendor documentation.
• Compile monthly management information system reports highlighting procurement volumes, cost reductions, and outstanding orders.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficient vendor management and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Hindi, both spoken and written.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, purchase documentation, and purchase order processing.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and cross-department coordination.
• Basic familiarity with GST and TDS related to purchases is beneficial.
