Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Purchase Engineer to manage the procurement of materials aligned with approved Bills of Materials (BOM) and project demands in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role requires close coordination with suppliers and internal teams to optimize purchase processes and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire materials based on approved BOM and project specifications.
- Engage with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, issue purchase orders, and manage delivery timelines.
- Monitor material availability and ensure on-schedule delivery to facilitate uninterrupted production.
- Maintain comprehensive purchase-related documents including records, supplier data, and quotations.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Production, Supply Chain Management, and Accounts departments to streamline procurement workflows.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from 25,000 to 30,000 INR.
