Job Overview

Join Scott-Edil Pharmacia Ltd as a licensed pharmacist serving the Chandigarh community. This role involves dispensing prescribed medications, advising clients on their safe usage, and managing various pharmacy operations on a daily basis.

Core Duties

• Accurately review and dispense prescription medications ensuring correct dosages and verifying patient medical histories and drug interactions.
• Provide counseling to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and guidance on over-the-counter products along with general health advice.
• Offer clinical services such as administering vaccines and performing basic health checkups where certification allows.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medicines, securing controlled substances, and handling expired products efficiently.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of pharmacy technicians, cashiers, and interns to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Must hold a valid and current pharmacist license authorized for practice in Punjab.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Attention to detail for accurate interpretation of prescriptions, correct dosage calculations, and maintaining legally compliant documentation.
