About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Publican to lead and manage Dublin Docks Tavern, a beloved local pub situated on the banks of Biggera Waters in Queensland. This senior leadership role demands a hands-on approach and a passion for hospitality — creating memorable pub experiences and fostering strong community connections.

Key Responsibilities

• Know and engage with the local patrons by name, building deep relationships whilst overseeing the profit and loss performance effectively.
• Operate the venue as if it were your own home, ensuring safety, smooth day-to-day operations, and strict compliance with relevant regulations.
• Act as a cornerstone of the community and motivate a high-achieving team through your leadership.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues quickly before they escalate.
• Consistently deliver a welcoming atmosphere, excellent service and maintain positive energy throughout each shift.

Physical Requirements

This position requires manual handling tasks such as moving stock, kegs, and deliveries regularly, so candidates must be capable of performing physical duties safely and efficiently.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience owning or managing a pub with strong leadership presence and pride in venue ownership.
• Holds current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG/RCG) certifications that comply with state regulations.
