About The Role
Join the team at Enfield Hotel, a cherished local venue situated in Clearview, South Australia, just 20 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD. This diverse hub features a family-friendly bistro, a dynamic sports bar, and updated accommodation rooms. We are searching for an Assistant Manager to help maintain the venue’s reputation for great food, refreshing drinks, and warm community service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with local patrons to become a recognizable and trusted figure within the community.
- Assist the Publican to ensure smooth, safe, and enjoyable operations throughout the venue.
- Gain experience pairing leadership with hands-on management by guiding a team of experienced hospitality professionals.
- Proactively manage issues before they escalate into problems.
- Provide energetic, friendly, and attentive customer service during every shift.
Physical Requirements
This role involves manual handling duties such as moving stock, kegs, and deliveries, requiring candidates to be capable of safely performing physical tasks.
Candidate Profile
- You have experience working in bar, bistro, or gaming room environments and some supervisory exposure.
- You have learned from exemplary management and are ready to assume more responsibility.
- You possess the confidence and interpersonal skills needed to represent the pub when the Publican is unavailable.
- You hold current certifications including RSA, RSG, and RP Badge as mandated by local legislation.
