About The Role

Join the team at Willaston Hotel as an Assistant Manager, located on Main North Road in Adelaide's northern suburbs. This lively venue is a local favourite featuring a bustling Family Bistro with an indoor playground, a relaxed Sports Bar, and a popular outdoor beer garden. The Assistant Manager will support the Publican in delivering excellent service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Duties

• Build strong relationships with local patrons and become a familiar friendly face.
• Assist the Publican in ensuring smooth, safe, and well-run operations at the venue.
• Gain hands-on experience and leadership skills to progress towards a Publican role.
• Address operational challenges proactively before they escalate.
• Maintain high energy, exemplary service standards, and a positive attitude every shift.

Physical Requirements

• This role involves manual handling tasks such as moving stock, kegs, and deliveries. Candidates must safely and effectively manage physical workload.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working in bar, bistro, or gaming environments, with some supervisory background preferred.
• Eager to learn from seasoned managers and prepared to take on greater responsibility.
• Confident and personable, able to represent the pub professionally in the manager's absence.
• Current RSA, RSG 1 & 2, and RP Badge certifications required as per state regulations.
