About the Role
A prominent company operating in the beauty and wellness industry seeks a seasoned Public Relations Officer (PRO) to oversee government liaison, regulatory compliance, employee document management, and related compliance tasks throughout their Saudi Arabia operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer the entire employee visa process including issuance, renewal, transfer, cancellation, and management of residency permits (Iqama) and work permits.
- Conduct all government transactions and prepare required documentation via official Saudi government platforms.
- Maintain and update records across multiple portals such as Qiwa, Muqeem, Mudad, GOSI, Absher Business, and Ministry-related online systems.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes from a government relations and compliance standpoint.
- Track expiration dates of Iqamas, work permits, licenses, registrations, and other statutory documents to guarantee timely renewals.
- Ensure company compliance with Saudi Labor Law regulations and Saudization mandates.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, Operations, and external government bodies on regulatory issues and requirements.
- Assist with obtaining and renewing company licenses, meeting municipality regulations, preparing Chamber of Commerce paperwork, and other government-related approvals.
- Safeguard confidentiality and accuracy in all government filings and employee records.
- Keep leadership informed of any regulatory changes impacting workforce or business operations.
- Resolve any government paperwork issues meticulously with prompt follow-up until successfully completed.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 5 to 7 years of direct experience in Public Relations Officer or Government Relations roles within Saudi Arabia.
- In-depth practical knowledge of Saudi government portals and employment procedures.
- Comprehensive understanding of Saudi Labor Law, Saudization policies, visa and Iqama regulations, and work permit processes.
- Exposure to managing high-volume or multi-location employee bases is a plus.
- Fluent communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with strong follow-up and documentation capabilities.
- Professional handling of confidential employee and corporate information.
- Highly capable of coordinating effectively between governmental authorities and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates residing in Saudi Arabia with proven ability to autonomously manage all aspects of government relations and documentation are highly favored.
