Role Overview

We are looking for a Registered Psychologist to join our collaborative and supportive team based in Hamilton. This position involves engaging with a diverse client population within both prison and community environments. The role offers a professional, collegial setting with flexible working options, regular peer supervision, and opportunities for continuous professional development. The team collaborates extensively within Ara Poutama Aotearoa and with specialized groups across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform psychological assessments and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct case consultations and engage in rehabilitation-centered activities aimed at fostering positive behavioral change and promoting community safety.
• Develop expertise in court assessment reports and provide expert testimony if applicable, particularly for senior psychologists.
• Participate in comprehensive training and supervision programs to enhance professional skills.

Benefits and Salary

The remuneration for this role ranges from $83,286 to $133,370 per annum, determined by clinical competence, skills, and experience. Additional benefits include:

• 5 weeks annual leave, increasing to 6 weeks with tenure.
