About the Role

ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is seeking a Proposals Development Associate II to contribute to client proposal creation and advance clinical trial initiatives. The role involves ensuring accurate and detailed proposals that support innovative healthcare treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation and compilation of client proposals, covering cost calculations, timelines, and defined scopes of work.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, project management, finance, and other departments to collect essential data and verify proposal details.
• Perform in-depth research on client needs, industry competitors, and market trends to guide proposal approaches.
• Manage the lifecycle of proposals, keeping track of progress, coordinating reviews, and guaranteeing compliance with internal standards and deadlines.
• Maintain and update proposal-related templates, databases, and supporting tools to enhance efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, or a similar discipline.
• Possesses 2 to 3 years of experience in proposal drafting, clinical research, or comparable roles, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO sectors.
• Exhibits excellent organizational and detail-oriented abilities, capable of handling multiple simultaneous tasks and deadlines.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and oral, able to clearly express intricate information.
• Is proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), familiar with proposal software or CRM platforms is advantageous.
