Job Overview
The Proposal Manager will lead and organize the preparation of detailed proposal responses, such as RFIs, PPQs, ITTs, and RFPs. This involves assembling a team with the required expertise to deliver compelling and successful proposals. Strong coordination and governance implementation are integral parts of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Introduce and enforce all necessary proposal processes and governance frameworks.
- Operate effectively under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
- Participate primarily during the Bid and Pursuit Phase, concluding involvement during the Clarification stage.
- Manage documentation templates to ensure alignment with corporate branding.
- Plan, produce, and deliver high-quality proposals, especially focused on government sector opportunities.
- Design, maintain, and update content libraries or proposal management systems.
- Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet customer timelines.
Professional Requirements
- A strong understanding of state and federal RFP procedures, including knowledge of GSA and SAM processes.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
- An MBA degree is preferred.
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience in proposal management or similar roles.
