Role Overview

The Property Officer (M&E) will be responsible for managing maintenance to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and safety of facilities within designated properties. This role demands a balance of practical facilities insights and strategic initiatives towards sustainability, safety, and optimal building performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise ongoing maintenance and repair tasks while ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Perform regular inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment to maintain service excellence.
• Coordinate renewals and upkeep of service agreements, licenses, and permits in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Identify and recommend facility improvements and upgrades to enhance building functionality and efficiency.
• Oversee contractor activities to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
• Implement environmental initiatives focusing on energy-saving and water conservation aligned with sustainability goals.
• Lead risk management protocols, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety programs.
• Compile monthly operational reports and actively participate in client meetings to communicate facility status and updates.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma holder in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related technical disciplines.
• A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in property management, facilities maintenance, or equipment oversight.
• Preferably certified with professional accreditations such as FSM, Green Mark, ZWM, WEM, SIFMA Tier 1–4, IFMA, or SCEM.
• Strong customer service skills complemented by excellent communication capabilities.
• Well-versed in resolving complex technical building maintenance challenges with an innovative approach.
