Job description
Role Overview
Salvation Army Homes is committed to delivering comprehensive, high-quality housing services along with support and resettlement programs for individuals who are currently or recently homeless and require assistance and accommodation.
Key Duties
- Establish trust and build rapport with young residents.
- Assist young people in developing independent living skills.
- Promote involvement in social and leisure activities.
- Offer support for residents in managing day-to-day living requirements.
Candidate Profile

- Confident and effective communicator capable of handling challenging situations.
- Able to establish professional and trusting relationships, demonstrating resilience.
- Adopts an asset-based approach to empower clients by strengthening their skills, talents, and abilities.
- Possesses experience or solid knowledge in working with homeless populations and/or young people.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn about local community resources and relevant organizations.
- Flexibility to work varied hours following a rota system aligned with service and team requirements.
