Groundworker

About the Role

We are seeking dependable and experienced Groundworkers for immediate deployment on a vital project near Rochester with ongoing opportunities on future Kent contracts for suitable candidates.

Primary Duties

• Installation of shallow drainage systems, associated piping, and manholes.
• Substructure works including slab laying, concrete pouring, footings, and foundation tasks.
• Completing finishing tasks such as slabbing, block paving, kerbing, and edging.
• General site preparation activities including operating small plant equipment (where licensed) and manual excavation as needed.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid CSCS card (mandatory).
• Demonstrated competence in all facets of groundworks within civil and residential construction.
• Complete personal protective equipment: hard hat, steel-toe boots, high visibility clothing.
• CPCS/NPORS certification for dumper or digger operation is preferred but not required.
• Reliable personal transport to commute to the worksite daily.
• Eligibility to live and work within the United Kingdom.
