Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor for a civil project located in Wexford, Ireland. Key Responsibilities

• Provide advice on contractual matters at both general and project levels.
• Manage contractual claims and maintain all related documentation.
• Identify opportunities to maximize revenue, reduce costs, and investigate any losses.
• Support project cash flow management.
• Advise and assist with project-related correspondence.
• Negotiate and finalize agreements with subcontractors and suppliers including pricing and terms.
• Ensure timely closure of final accounts.
• Draft commercial and contractual correspondence promptly.
• Prepare and review subcontractor and supplier documentation.
• Compile and evaluate monthly cost reporting.
• Maintain and update risk registers, variation trackers, and extension of time trackers monthly and integrate findings in reports.
• Negotiate final accounts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Measure, price, and negotiate variations with clients, quantity surveyors, and subcontractors.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor on medium to large construction projects.
• Experience working on extensive, high headcount construction sites with subcontractors.
• Capable of collaborating with Commercial and Contracts Managers, handling internal stakeholders and client representatives, including attending meetings on site.
• Exhibits strong time management abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Solid grasp of the construction industry and practical site experience.
• Effectively utilizes time to enhance productivity and meet demanding targets.
