About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Planner/Scheduler to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, entrusted with managing project timelines from inception through full execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and relevant departments to create and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
  • Establish baseline timelines and continuously update progress relative to planned activities.
  • Liaise with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Technical teams, and other stakeholders to align activities with project goals.
  • Track milestones, critical deadlines, and essential tasks to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Identify any scheduling delays, risks, or bottlenecks and communicate these promptly to the Project Manager.
  • Follow up on pending tasks with responsible teams to ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor procurement, materials, manpower, and resource requirements in relation to the project timeline.
  • Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and updates on scheduling status.
  • Analyze scheduling effectiveness and suggest recovery strategies when delays arise.
  • Maintain precise records comparing planned versus actual progress.
  • Assist project teams in formulating recovery plans and adjusting schedules as needed.
  • Organize regular schedule review meetings to discuss key actions and deadlines.
  • Ensure all schedule changes are accurately documented and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate monitoring of subcontractors’ and suppliers’ progress against plans.
  • Sequence project activities logically, accurately representing dependencies in the schedule.
  • Provide management with transparent insights into project status, key milestones, risks, and forecasted delays.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and versioning control for all schedules.
  • Expertise in preparing Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) reports and time extension requests.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project planning, management, and execution throughout project lifecycle.
  • Proficient in English communication.
