Project Manager

About the Role

VySystems is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with over 15 years of experience to lead projects from initiation to closure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Advanced Excel, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Waterfall Project Management methodology, based in Hyderabad or Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, trackers, and dashboards.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables systematically.
• Leverage Advanced Excel for detailed reporting, data analysis, and dashboard preparation.
• Utilize Jira and Azure DevOps to manage tasks, work items, sprints, and backlog.
• Ensure compliance with Waterfall methodology throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular status meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders effectively.
• Identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies promptly.
• Coordinate efforts across internal teams, vendors, and clients for smooth project execution.
• Maintain thorough documentation and governance reports throughout the project.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Extensive project management experience with proven success in end-to-end delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including complex functions and dashboard creation.
• Hands-on experience working with Jira for project and task tracking.
• Competence in using Azure DevOps for managing work items, sprints, backlogs, and projects.
• Strong understanding and application of Waterfall project management practices.
• Expertise in risk, issue, dependency, and change management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client communication capabilities.
• Effective resource planning, allocation, and budget tracking skills.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive MIS reports and management presentations.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience specifically in project management roles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership qualities.
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal communication skills.

Location: Hyderabad or Bangalore, India.
Notice Period: Immediate availability preferred, with 15–30 days acceptable.
