- Manage schedules, budgets, resources, risk exposures, and dependencies throughout project lifecycles.
- Serve as the principal point of contact between internal teams, external customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide support for prototype construction, testing regimens, and certification processes, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Implement robust project reporting, governance protocols, and documentation practices from initiation through completion.
- Proactively identify potential risks, eliminate bottlenecks, and resolve obstacles to maintain project momentum.
- Participate in ongoing process improvements to refine planning, delivery, and scalability of projects within SYOS.
Candidate Profile

They balance strategic oversight with meticulous attention to detail, establish trust among stakeholders, and maintain momentum amid shifting priorities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated project management experience in engineering, technology, manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, defence, or related technical fields.
- Proven success managing complex projects through all stages from conception to deployment, testing, or implementation.
- Strong familiarity with project delivery frameworks and product development lifecycles.
- Exceptional planning capabilities, communication skills, and stakeholder engagement expertise.
- Experience overseeing budgets, timelines, risks, and prioritization of competing demands.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and comprehend multifaceted engineering concepts.
- Proficiency with project management platforms such as Jira, MS Project, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalents.
- Solution-oriented approach, sound judgement, and professional conduct.
Desirable Skills
- An academic degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, or a related discipline.
- Previous exposure to aerospace, defence, autonomous systems, or research and development environments.
- Certification in project management methodologies such as PMP or PRINCE2.
- Familiarity with certification, regulatory, or safety compliance frameworks.
