Project Manager

About the Role

ADB SAFEGATE invites experienced professionals to join as Project Managers leading airfield system projects across challenging and varied environments. The role focuses on delivering complex airfield infrastructure initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality completion aligned with organizational and client goals. Flexibility to operate at remote locations and willingness to undertake frequent travel is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and successful delivery of airfield systems projects to meet client and company objectives.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Engage with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to fulfill project goals.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently to drive project progress.
• Identify potential risks and apply mitigation plans to maintain smooth project operations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, standards, and safety norms.
• Generate and provide comprehensive progress reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of project management experience focused on airfield systems, aviation infrastructure, or similar sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of airfield systems, including lighting, navigation, communication, and safety technologies.
• Skilled in using project management software and tools.
• Strong leadership abilities combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to perform under pressure and adapt to demanding environments.
• Arabic proficiency is a notable advantage.
• Willingness to be assigned to prolonged remote site deployments.
• Preparedness for frequent travel, possibly at short notice, according to project needs.
• Demonstrated excellent problem-solving aptitude and decisive action-taking in dynamic settings.
