Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee the complete delivery of IT solutions for government and enterprise clients. The manager will ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. This role requires a blend of project management expertise and delivery accountability, involving stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, governance, and leadership of cross-disciplinary technical teams. Depending on the scale and complexity, the role could manage multiple small-to-medium projects or a single large project.

Candidates with a solid IT foundation and familiarity with cloud platforms, data, AI/ML, low-code tools, and enterprise applications are preferred, although hands-on development is not expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage software and IT projects throughout their lifecycle—from initiation to closure.
• Create and update project documentation including plans, schedules, budgets, risk and resource management tools.
• Ensure project delivery conforms to defined scope, timelines, costs, and quality benchmarks.
• Utilize Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies as appropriate.
• Coordinate solution delivery involving multiple vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Serve as main contact for clients and stakeholders, providing detailed progress, risk, and milestone communications.
• Address client expectations and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to government procurement policies, governance standards, and reporting protocols.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor financial status, and forecast accurately.
• Authorize minor adjustments to costing within set limits without additional approvals.
• Handle contract changes, variations, and service requests consistent with terms.
• Support contract evaluation, vendor negotiations, and commercial dealings.
• Implement and maintain governance frameworks and quality assurance standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with security and data protection regulations.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and inspire project teams, encouraging collaboration and accountability.
• Facilitate skills enhancement and cross-team knowledge transfer.

Candidate Profile

• Experience managing projects involving cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or equivalents), enterprise systems, and integrations.
• Familiarity with database-driven applications and data platforms.
• Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms and AI/ML or data analytics projects.
• Proficient use of project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project.
• Understanding of system architecture and delivery dependencies.
• Strong organizational, planning, risk, and change management capabilities.
• Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Detail-focused while maintaining strategic oversight; proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in application development or implementation projects.
• Relevant diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CITPM, CSM, PSM, Agile, or ITIL/service management preferred.
