Directed Content Team

As part of the Expert Insights group, the Directed Content Team focuses on producing thousands of interviews quarterly with experts aligned to high-value content targets. This team plays a critical role in recruiting, onboarding, and managing industry experts worldwide to ensure the Expert Transcript Library provides rich and relevant content for users.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Sector Lead for Directed Content, the Project Manager will be pivotal in managing project scope and guiding Analysts in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications domains. Responsibilities include defining research directions, identifying pertinent expert profiles, leveraging insights from research directors and client feedback, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The Project Manager ensures team productivity, provides coaching on sourcing strategies, and continuously drives quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the authority on the Technology, Media & Telecom sectors by staying attuned to industry developments, competing forces, technological innovations, regulations, and investment trends.
• Initiate and manage targeted research projects reflecting client needs, emerging technologies, and shifting market conditions.
• Set project strategies, including research angles, expert selection criteria, and vetting standards to guarantee superior output.
• Assess and approve expert candidate profiles, maintaining network quality through constructive feedback.
• Lead performance management for Analyst teams through meetings, progress tracking, and balanced work allocation.
• Oversee operational aspects such as scheduling, compliance adherence, expert interactions, and key performance monitoring.
• Mentor Analysts to enhance sourcing quality and execution excellence.
• Collaborate effectively with Directors of Research, Sector Leads, client representatives, and Contributor Relations to meet client objectives and explore new opportunities.
• Promote sector knowledge development by refining resources, supporting onboarding, and enhancing team-wide expertise.
