Job description

Role Overview

As a Project Manager at Codethink, you will engage with prestigious clients across sectors such as electronics, finance, healthcare, and automotive industries. Your responsibility is to oversee projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring alignment with budget constraints and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the sales process by managing engineering and project delivery aspects for proposals and bids.
  • Oversee the execution of multiple, often highly technical and complex, customer projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate actively within account management teams to sustain and grow sales within existing client portfolios.
  • Foster strong client relationships through teamwork with Codethink colleagues.
  • Form and lead productive project teams effectively.
  • Manage engineering personnel assigned to projects efficiently.
  • Control project budgets to ensure financial discipline.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, risk registers, change and dependency logs.
  • Work closely with technical teams and team leads to facilitate project progress.

Candidate Profile

  • Personable and confident in interacting with diverse individuals.
  • Capable of managing pressure and navigating uncertainty and deadlines.
  • Eager and capable of quickly understanding new technical concepts.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and adaptable to varying weekly demands.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in managing software projects.

Preferred Experience

  • Proven track record delivering complex technical software projects successfully.
  • Experience or strong familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Competence in budget management for projects.
  • Leadership experience managing teams and individual contributors.
