Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position is based in Gaborone and requires supporting project managers in organizing and tracking tasks within Cabanga Africa’s media, consulting, digital, and training projects. Key daily duties encompass managing project documents, keeping timelines updated, generating status reports, and coordinating follow-ups with internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities also include scheduling meetings, minute-taking, updating project management systems, and aiding in ensuring deliverables adhere to quality and timeline requirements. The assistant plays a role in process optimization by spotting workflow bottlenecks, assisting in data gathering, and contributing to new process rollouts.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills suitable for collaborating with varied teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills to prepare documentation, reports, and stakeholder briefings.
- Preferably holds a diploma or degree in project management, business administration, or related discipline.
- Prior experience in media, consulting, or digital services is beneficial, along with knowledge of African business environments.
