Job description
Role Summary
We are seeking a Project Lead to remotely manage a significant initiative that demands extensive legal knowledge and strategic oversight. This position involves directing the creation and execution of legal frameworks for innovative technologies.
Primary Duties
- Formulate and apply legal strategies that align with project objectives and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Work closely with various functional teams to ensure compliance with legal requirements throughout the product development phases.
- Lead initiatives for identifying and minimizing legal risks related to technology.
- Prepare and analyze contracts, agreements, and policy documents to safeguard the organization's interests.
- Offer legal advice on intellectual property, data privacy, and contractual commitments to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized institution.
- At least 7 years of legal professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a project leadership capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of technology law encompassing data privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence regulations.
- Skilled in drafting and negotiating sophisticated legal contracts and agreements.
- Ability to effectively communicate legal concepts and convert them into practical business strategies for non-legal personnel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with legal research tools and regulatory compliance systems.
