About the Role
Avante Ventilation Equipment Manufacturing LLC is seeking a Project Engineer specializing in HVAC and MEP systems to join their team in Bengaluru. This role involves collaborating closely with Sales Managers to coordinate project tasks and meet business goals while providing technical expertise to ensure adherence to relevant laws and organizational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Sales Managers in organizing project activities and driving business outcomes.
- Offer engineering guidance to guarantee compliance with laws, regulations, and standard protocols.
- Function as a technical point of contact for facility operations, focusing on process improvement, project execution, and specifying replacement or repair parts.
- Lead teams in designing mechanical systems, commercial kitchen ventilation, HVAC, and MEP projects; conduct training sessions for end users.
- Assess project designs to ensure alignment with engineering principles, client needs, quality benchmarks, and technical details.
- Review and authorize design changes and drawings before production release.
- Coordinate design, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning stages for seamless, timely project delivery.
- Supervise onsite contractors ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and budget control.
- Prepare and deliver weekly progress updates to managers.
- Adapt working hours flexibly, including night shifts as required.
- Maintain continuous compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Assist Service Engineers in delivering service operations and related technical tasks.
- Represent the company professionally and ethically in all interactions.
- Foster strong, proactive communication channels with clients to build and maintain lasting relationships.
- Conduct client follow-ups, arrange site visits, meetings, and take necessary action to strengthen partnerships within scheduled timelines.
- Effectively network with existing customers to sustain ongoing collaborations.
- Provide clear and practical technical advice to clients.
- Coordinate effectively with project and service teams ensuring smooth communication.
- Manage and perform service and project tasks at client locations including installation, testing, commissioning, and AMC services.
- Willingness to travel to multiple sites as necessary and flexibility to work day and night shifts to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, particularly with AutoCAD and MEP systems; prior experience in HVAC or professional kitchen environments will be an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a bonus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in writing emails and project reports with a customer-focused mindset.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented with an ability to collaborate across different departments and international teams.
