Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Electrical Project Engineer to join our Engineering & Projects team located in Adelaide. This role suits someone with 2 to 5 years of engineering experience who thrives in project delivery, enjoys tackling technical problems, and collaborates with seasoned construction and engineering professionals. The position features the chance to work on a wide array of electrical and cross-disciplinary projects within a supportive and teamwork-oriented environment focused on excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical projects.
• Deliver technical engineering support throughout project phases.
• Participate in design assessments, electrical installations, and commissioning tasks.
• Manage communication and coordination among subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel.
• Support procurement activities, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Track project status, expenses, reports, and major deadlines.
• Examine electrical designs, specifications, and technical documents.
• Identify project risks and contribute to practical solution development.
• Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to achieve successful project outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in project engineering or analogous roles.
• Hands-on involvement with electrical, industrial, or multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and commissioning processes.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Understanding of Australian Standards and electrical regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
• Dedication to safety, quality assurance, and successful project completion.
• Willingness to travel for project needs when required.
