Project Coordinator

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Project Coordinator / Interface Manager to ensure the effective delivery of intricate building and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in multidisciplinary coordination across diverse domains such as buildings, roads, utilities, MEP services, BIM, authorities, schedules, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the interfaces between building structures and infrastructure components, including roads, utility networks, and MEP systems.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary design and construction efforts to guarantee smooth project implementation.
• Detect, monitor, and resolve technical, contractual, and construction interface challenges.
• Lead BIM coordination processes, identifying potential design conflicts and coordination concerns.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with pertinent standards and approvals.
• Track project schedules and identify possible delays, scope omissions, and risks related to coordination.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, design teams, project members, and other involved parties.
• Assist in resolving issues that could trigger claims, project delays, rework, or missing scopes.
• Generate comprehensive reports, presentations, and all documentation associated with interface management.
• Maintain efficient document control systems and communication channels among all project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering field.
• Have at least 10 years of relevant project coordination or interface management experience within the UAE.
• Demonstrate substantial experience working with both building and infrastructure projects.
• Show proven capabilities in multidisciplinary coordination encompassing roads, utilities, MEP systems, and BIM.
• Exhibit strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and coordination.
• Display proficiency in reporting, documentation, and document management processes.
• Experience in consultancy, Project Management Consultancy (PMC), or with major contractors is considered an advantage.
