Role Overview
The Project Coordinator is essential to Tate Europe's project management operations, ensuring the smooth orchestration and completion of projects. This role involves meticulous planning, organizing, and executing tasks while maintaining effective communication among team members and stakeholders. The position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to juggle diverse responsibilities, playing a vital role in Tate’s project success.
The coordinator also leads the development and implementation of process improvements within the projects team, establishes standard operating procedures to boost efficiency and minimize errors, and upholds excellence in organizational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer interactions end-to-end with initiative and ownership to optimize outcomes.
- Coordinate contracts against critical deadlines alongside operations and production teams, updating all stakeholders on any changes.
- Compile reports, analyze data on dispatches, stock levels, procurement, and production metrics.
- Serve as the primary liaison for customer queries, orders, and product-related concerns within manufacturing.
- Engage in strategic activities including supplier sourcing, long-term forecasting, margin analysis using tools like Power BI, contingency plans, process improvements, supplier engagement, complaint analysis, and target setting.
- Lead the creation and rollout of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to standardize project workflows.
- Conduct root cause analyses to pinpoint project challenges and introduce best practices to enhance team performance.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination among project teams to foster collaboration and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to maintain inventory availability, meet delivery schedules, and coordinate with finance for compliance adherence.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in business or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated, stable experience in project administration or coordination, with preference for backgrounds in manufacturing or construction sectors.
- Proven capability to take initiative, think ahead, and effectively prioritize in dynamic environments.
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems, Excel, and forecasting tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at handling complex discussions with customers and stakeholders.
