About the Role
Join Parsons Corporation as a Project Controls Data Analyst based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where you will integrate engineering, scope, budget, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up elements within projects. You may oversee subtasks of larger projects, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled while maintaining technical excellence across engineering functions. The role may require relocation during construction and start-up phases.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and upkeep interactive dashboards and reporting platforms primarily using Power BI.
- Automate repetitive project control reports and key performance metrics to streamline workflows.
- Prepare executive-level summaries to communicate project status effectively.
- Establish standardized KPIs for consistent program and portfolio reporting.
- Analyze schedule progress and trends to inform project planning.
- Provide analytical support for earned value management (EVM) reporting and forecasting.
- Convert complex datasets into actionable business insights to support decision-making at project leadership levels.
- Identify potential risks, opportunities, and areas for performance improvement within projects.
- Create automated solutions for data extraction, transformation, and reporting to drive efficiency.
- Utilize Python and SQL to enhance data processing and reporting workflows.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by integrating innovative analytics and digital tools within Project Controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Between 3 to 7 years of experience in project controls, data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles.
- Prior exposure supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, engineering, or capital projects is preferred.
- Proven experience in developing Power BI dashboards and managing project performance reporting.
Preferred Skills
- Power BI for interactive dashboard development and reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for project scheduling.
- Proficiency in SQL for database management and queries.
- Knowledge of Python for data manipulation, automation, and analytics development.
