About the Team

The Business Development and Partnerships groups at Shopee are vibrant and proactive, continually seeking new business prospects to elevate Shopee as the leading e-commerce platform across Southeast Asia and Taiwan. Their core objective is to enrich Shopee’s marketplace with diverse product offerings at competitive prices.

Role Overview

As a Programs Associate, you will be assigned to one of several teams, such as Shopee Mall & Marketing Solutions, Revenue & Sellers Programs, or Commercial Programs. The specific team placement will be finalized before your start based on company needs and your unique skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the success and smooth execution of Shopee’s primary commercial initiatives.
• Perform routine price benchmarking and conduct comprehensive pricing analyses.
• Create pricing models and analytical tools to aid strategic decision-making.
• Continuously observe and assess industry trends to maintain competitive pricing structures.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and category managers to enforce pricing policies.
• Monitor and report regularly on program performance metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

• Holder of a bachelor's degree in any field.
• Previous internship experience within the e-commerce sector is advantageous.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with a capacity to manage tasks independently.
• Experience managing programs and working across departments, demonstrating proficient stakeholder engagement.
• Creative and analytical thinker adept at solving problems and exercising sound judgement.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken forms.
• Competent with numerical data and skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications.
• Knowledge of Data Studio and SQL is desirable but not mandatory.
