About the Role
Better Life Foundation India seeks a Programme Coordinator with an MSW or equivalent in Social Work, located in Kerala, Karnataka, or Maharashtra. This role entails planning, implementing, and overseeing community-based initiatives, collaborating closely with partner organizations, beneficiaries, and volunteers to drive effective program delivery at the field level.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute NGO initiatives aimed at community development.
- Conduct on-site visits to evaluate program needs and requirements.
- Engage with special schools, therapy centers, old age homes, disability groups, educational institutions, and community organizations to facilitate program activities.
- Develop and sustain relationships with beneficiaries, institutions, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed plans, schedules, reports, and maintain program documentation.
- Monitor program progress ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Organize awareness campaigns, workshops, training sessions, and community events.
- Manage volunteer coordination and field team activities.
- Collect program data including photographs, beneficiary details, and impact narratives.
- Identify community needs and communicate findings to management for action.
- Support fundraising, CSR initiatives, and partnership efforts as needed.
- Travel within the designated region to oversee program implementation.
- Adhere to organizational policies to ensure professional conduct in all activities.
