Role Overview

Grand Pacific Group is seeking a dedicated Professional Waiter to provide outstanding service across its prestigious venues in Sydney. This full-time, onsite position involves delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fine-dining environment, working collaboratively within the team to meet operational targets and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange tables to high standards.
• Manage reservations, welcome guests, and provide menus and beverage lists.
• Offer informed recommendations on dishes and pairings, especially wines.
• Take and communicate customer orders efficiently to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and beverages attentively, including opening and pouring drinks, mixing cocktails, and assisting cellar operations.
• Clear tables promptly, return dishware, remove empty bottles and glasses, and refill drinks as needed.
• Handle payment transactions and operate POS systems accurately.
• Adhere to operational goals, KPIs, company policies, and standard procedures.
• Promote client satisfaction with professional demeanor and comprehensive product knowledge to support client base growth and revenue enhancement.
• Maintain positive workplace relationships to uphold company culture and business integrity.
• Ensure all venues are maintained at the highest standards and report any issues promptly.
• Minimize wastage through efficient handling and processes.
• Follow safety protocols and workplace regulations, ensuring compliance and reporting hazards if identified.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates should have a minimum of 1.5 years of full-time experience working in a premium dining hospitality environment.

This role is based in Sydney, NSW, with opportunities to work across various Grand Pacific Group locations.

Salary and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $79,500 to $88,000, plus superannuation contributions.
