Role Overview
We are seeking skilled Professional Painters to become part of our Medicine Hat team. The position involves collaborative work to coordinate and position products utilizing an industrial monorail system throughout powder coating, sand blasting, washing, paint application, and baking processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a thorough understanding of powder coat painting processes.
- Manage operations of the Blast Booth.
- Utilize hand tools, grinders, air sanders, and paint guns in daily tasks.
- Handle all functions related to paint ovens effectively.
- Operate the air compressor as needed.
- Interpret and comprehend blueprints accurately.
- Adhere to good housekeeping standards consistently.
- Ensure all performed tasks meet quality standards outlined in the company’s Quality Manual.
Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 or its equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in painting and finishing, preferably with powder coating.
- Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
- Ability to understand production instructions and technical drawings.
- Strong skills in organization and task management.
