Role Overview

The position of Professional Driver entails full-time, on-site responsibilities primarily centered in Doha. The incumbent is tasked with the safe and efficient operation of assigned commercial trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company guidelines. Routine duties include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing cargo accurately, documenting delivery particulars meticulously, and promptly reporting mechanical defects.

Key Duties

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Load, secure, and transport cargo properly to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain precise records of deliveries and report any vehicle malfunctions immediately.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers, colleagues, and dispatch staff.
• Follow established routes and schedules to guarantee timely deliveries and pickups.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good condition throughout the workday.
• Collaborate effectively with dispatch to coordinate daily assignments and adapt to scheduling needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven expertise in commercial truck driving, emphasizing safety and operational efficiency.
• Possession of a valid CDL Class A or equivalent license for heavy vehicles, complemented by a clean driving record and knowledge of applicable regulations.
• Strong communication capabilities for effective coordination with dispatch teams, peers, and clientele.
• Excellent customer service aptitude to maintain respectful and professional engagements.
