Role Overview

As a Production Technician, you will be integral to assembling Kwetta's EV charging units with a focus on precision, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities range from assembly, wiring, testing, troubleshooting to driving ongoing process improvements. This role demands pride in craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative team spirit in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and assembling EV charging hardware to exacting quality standards.
  • Cabling and wiring components accurately and efficiently.
  • Testing assembled products and identifying technical faults.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.

Candidate Profile

  • Applicants should demonstrate hands-on skills and confidence with hand and power tools, with a keen willingness to expand their expertise.
  • Suitable backgrounds include auto electricians, individuals with automotive electrical experience, or those with 2+ years in electrical assembly or manufacturing.
  • Recently qualified electricians or EWRB-registered third or fourth-year electrical apprentices are welcome and will receive qualification completion support.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to doing the job correctly the first time.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a can-do spirit.
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for physically engaging, dynamic work environments.
  • Interest in electrical technologies, EV infrastructure, and contributing meaningfully to clean energy initiatives.
