Role Overview and Responsibilities

The role involves managing complex enterprise production applications primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies such as Vertex AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, and Looker, as well as experience in AWS and Azure platforms. The candidate will ensure effective monitoring using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, Thousand Eyes, Extrahop, Datadog, and Prometheus.

Expertise is required in multiple database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Aerospike. The position demands proficiency in maintaining high availability systems, overseeing data networks, NAS storage, networking, and IP routing, along with implementing automation and predictive availability solutions.

Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket, and GitHub is essential along with working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies. Familiarity with programming in C#, .Net, Java, and scripting languages, as well as middleware tools like IBM MQ, Kafka, and RabbitMQ, is highly desirable.
