About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position offering between $90,000 and $100,000 annually plus superannuation. The role includes free on-site parking and is based in Perth within a reputable manufacturing firm specializing in steel reinforcement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) using structural drawings alongside customer specifications to develop precise cut and bend lists for manufacturing. Familiarity with ASA and AutoCAD software will assist scheduling and production demands. This role requires coordinating production priorities and delivery timelines, continually updating schedules in response to evolving drawings or project requirements. Collaboration with customers, production teams, and site staff to ensure accurate fulfillment of requirements is essential. Emphasis will be placed on enhancing material use efficiency, minimizing waste, and preventing production errors.
Candidate Profile
- Two to three years of experience in reinforcement scheduling or cut and bend manufacturing environments.
- Proficient at interpreting structural and engineering drawings.
- Competent with ASA, AutoCAD, or similar scheduling and BBS software tools.
- Solid understanding of reinforcement products, their forms, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Australian Standards AS 3600 and AS/NZS 4671.
- High numerical accuracy paired with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
