About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient CVD Diamond Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee the daily operations at our CVD Diamond Manufacturing Plant in Surat, Gujarat. The supervisor will play a critical role in managing production activities, operator performance, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily manufacturing operations of CVD diamonds on the production floor.
• Lead and manage CVD Machine Operators during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Supervise machine activities including startup, operation, loading, unloading, and shutdown processes.
• Monitor and maintain machine parameters such as power, pressure, temperature, gas flow, vacuum, cooling, recipe, and growth time.
• Ensure operators diligently check and document all machine parameters regularly.
• Track and analyze machine-wise production status throughout shifts.
• Identify anomalies such as abnormal machine behavior, alarms, process deviations, or production issues and report significant technical problems immediately to Production Manager or Engineers.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to handle machine breakdowns and technical challenges with a goal of minimizing downtime.
• Follow up on machines undergoing maintenance, testing, or repair to ensure timely restoration.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure proper shift handovers.

Performance Metrics

• Shift-based production achievement and completion rates.
• Machine utilization and running status monitoring.
• Reduction of machine downtime and prompt breakdown reporting.
• Operator productivity and shift discipline maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in CVD Diamond manufacturing, machine operation, or related industrial production environments.
• Preferred past roles include CVD Operator, Senior Operator, Shift In-Charge, or Production Supervisor.
• Technical qualification such as ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Production, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong understanding of CVD machine operations.

Additional Information

• Position reports to Production Manager or Plant Manager.
• Working shifts include day, night, or rotational schedule.
• Salary range is ₹15,000 to ₹50,000 per month, dependent on experience and interview performance.
• Ideal candidate is practical, disciplined, and responsible with technical skills to independently manage a production shift, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.
