Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a Production Engineer to join our team in Vatva, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Candidates should have between 2 to 5 years of experience and hold a qualification of B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering. Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee daily production operations to meet targets efficiently.
- Enhance manufacturing processes to increase productivity while reducing costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Purchase, Quality, and Stores departments.
- Monitor machinery performance and troubleshoot any production challenges.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and reports.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols on the shop floor.
- Assist in machinery installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Lead and support shop-floor teams in process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in production planning and control methodologies.
- Strong ability to improve manufacturing processes.
- Competent in quality management and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software and interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Skilled in MS Excel and production reporting tools.
- Capability to coordinate effectively with team members and departments.
- Experience in machine manufacturing will be seen as an advantage.
