Production Engineer

About the Role

Globe Consulting Services seeks a Production Engineer to oversee manufacturing operations within the PTFE products sector. The position is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, with reporting at Dahisar or Vasai manufacturing units and interviews conducted at the Head Office in Andheri. This role demands a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Work Schedule

The working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with Sundays off as the weekly holiday.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities ensuring efficient workflow at the manufacturing site.
• Collaborate with operators and production teams to maintain smooth operations.
• Track production targets, uphold quality benchmarks, and ensure timely completion of manufacturing tasks.
• Manage production processes pertinent to PTFE products specifically.
• Ensure appropriate usage and maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment during production cycles.
• Monitor product quality and liaise with the Quality Department to resolve any deviations.
• Maintain accurate daily records and production reports.
• Identify and resolve production-related challenges by coordinating across relevant teams.
• Adhere to established safety, quality, and production standards throughout operations.
• Coordinate effectively with Maintenance, Quality, and Stores teams to support uninterrupted production.
• Be flexible to work at either Dahisar or Vasai plants based on organizational needs.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a mandatory qualification.
• Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in production or manufacturing settings.
• Preference for candidates with exposure to PTFE products manufacturing, engineering goods, or plastic processing industries.
• Solid understanding of production workflows and fundamental mechanical principles.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with operators and cross-functional departments.
• Willingness to work at both Dahisar and Vasai manufacturing locations when required.
