Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our growing Mackay site, focusing on planning, managing work-in-progress (WIP), and ensuring smooth operational flow. You will be crucial in coordinating materials, schedules, and resources based on forecasted workloads to minimize delays and enhance delivery performance in a dynamic workshop setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Align and coordinate production scheduling and planning activities
- Oversee WIP levels to identify and alleviate bottlenecks and delays
- Synchronize materials and resource availability with operational demands
- Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and warehouse teams
- Deliver reporting and insight to enable proactive and informed decision-making
Candidate Profile
- At least five years of experience in a planning capacity within workshops or heavy industry environments
- Excellent organizational abilities and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems is considered a strong advantage
- A pragmatic, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach
Qualifications
- Relevant engineering or trade qualifications are highly favorable
