Role Overview
The Product Security Incident Response Engineer role involves identifying vulnerabilities in ADI products and collaborating closely with product teams to apply effective and efficient fixes. This role is based in Limerick, Ireland, or Edinburgh, Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product security incident response activities across diverse product lines, with an emphasis on software vulnerabilities.
- Utilize over three years of incident response experience, particularly within IoT, hardware, web, or software application domains.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to identify, prioritize, develop, and validate remediation actions, adhering to the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) procedures.
- Support security assessments for products during their development phases to ensure alignment with prevailing industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain professional and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including security researchers reporting potential vulnerabilities.
Desired Skills and Attributes
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, tools, and products for efficient PSIRT process implementation.
- Commitment to continuous process improvements within the PSIRT framework and ADI’s product lifecycle development.
- Clear and professional communication skills for conveying findings and remediation strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
- Strong grasp of foundational security principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in software, web, silicon, or IoT development.
- Possession of, or willingness to earn within six months, certifications such as CEH, CISSP, GIAC, GCIH, or GCIA.
