Role Overview

The Product Quality Manager is responsible for leading a team of Product Quality Specialists to ensure all quality-related operations comply with regulatory and company standards. This role involves supervising batch acceptance, investigations, CAPA, change control, product disposition, quarantine, and new product support. The manager fosters a culture of compliance, teamwork, continuous improvement, and development aligned with McKesson’s core values and leadership expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Product Quality Specialists, setting clear goals and supporting their growth through regular feedback and coaching.
• Manage product quality activities to ensure adherence to internal procedures, regulations, and quality standards.
• Oversee batch acceptance, product release, quarantining, investigations, CAPA, and change control processes ensuring timely completion.
• Identify, assess, and escalate quality and supply risks appropriately.
• Manage team workloads and priorities, monitor key quality metrics, and drive continuous process improvements including adoption of digital tools and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Commercial to align quality initiatives with business goals.
• Represent Product Quality in audits, inspections, and supplier engagements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or equivalent professional experience with at least 6 years in pharmaceutical quality assurance or related regulated environments.
• Experience in supervising or leading teams is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with quality systems covering investigations, CAPA, change controls, and risk management.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards within the pharmaceutical industry.
